About the Membership
IFERD provides membership under four broad categories: Ordinary Membership, Affiliate Membership, Honorary Membership, and Student Membership. Admission to Ordinary Membership shall be made in accordance with the provisions of the Indian Companies Act, 2013. Affiliate Membership is distinct from Ordinary Membership and is open to individuals, institutions, and organizations willing to support the vision and mission of IFERD. The rights, duties, and obligations of Affiliate Members shall not be governed by the provisions of the Indian Companies Act, 2013, but shall be determined by the IFERD Assembly. Affiliate Membership is further classified into six categories, namely Institutional, Corporate, Fellow, Associate, Primary, and Student Membership. Ordinary Membership
Ordinary Membership is open to individuals, institutions, and organizations that formally subscribe to the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association of IFERD.
Affiliate
Membership
All membership categories, other than Governing and Honorary Membership, fall under Affiliate Membership
Honorary
Membership
Honorary Membership is conferred upon eminent individuals who have made exceptional contributions to academia, industry, public service, or society at large.
Institutional Membership
Institutional Membership is open to higher education institutions, professional bodies, schools, and training institutes, as well as other non-for-profit entities.
Corporate
Membership
Corporate Membership is available to corporate houses, business enterprises, industries, service organizations, and commercial establishments. All profit-oriented entities may apply under this category.
Fellow
Membership
Fellow Membership is open to distinguished individuals from academia, industry, and society at large who have at least fifteen (15) years of working experience and have made notable contributions to their respective fields
Associate
Membership
Associate Membership is available to distinguished individuals from academia, industry, and society at large who have at least ten (10) years of working experience and have made notable contributions to their respective fields
Primary
Membership
Primary Membership is open to individuals aged 21 years or above who wish to contribute to society and align themselves with the shared vision and mission of IFERD.
Student
Membership
Student Membership is open to students who are currently pursuing their studies at the postgraduate, undergraduate, or senior secondary level
