National Advisory Board

IFERD National Advisory Board brings together a distinguished group of thought leaders, practitioners, and experts from across the country who are dedicated to strengthening education, research, and societal development. National Advisory Board shall function as a key consultative and strategic advisory body dedicated to advancing the objectives of the Federation at the national level. It shall play an important role in aligning IFERD’s initiatives with the country’s educational priorities, research ecosystem, and social development agenda. While IFERD operates with a global outlook, the National Advisory Board shall ensure that its programs and engagements remain contextually relevant, responsive, and impactful within the national framework. National Advisory Board shall comprise eminent leaders and domain experts drawn from academia, industry, government, civil society, and philanthropic institutions across the country. Advisory Board Members shall be invited in recognition of their professional distinction, policy insight, ethical leadership, and significant contributions to education and societal development. 

The composition of the Board shall reflect diversity in expertise, institutional representation, and regional balance, with a view to ensuring inclusive and well-informed advisory inputs. The maximum number of members of the Board shall not exceed fifteen (15). Members of the National Advisory Board shall be appointed for a term of two (2) years and may be reappointed based on their contributions and continued engagement with the Federation. Positions on the National Advisory Board shall be honorary and non-remunerative in nature. The National Advisory Board shall function in an advisory and non-executive capacity and shall not be involved in the day-to-day administration or operational decision-making of the Federation. It shall serve as a trusted advisory forum, contributing to informed decision-making and strengthening the strategic direction of IFERD. The Board shall provide informed perspectives on emerging national trends, reforms, and regulatory developments in the fields of education, research, and social development. 

It shall advise the Federation on the design and implementation of national-level initiatives, collaborations, and outreach activities, while supporting the development of constructive relationships with universities, regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and civil society organizations. The National Advisory Board shall also promote excellence, ethical practices, innovation, and accountability in IFERD’s programs and engagements, and provide mentorship and strategic guidance for institutional growth, capacity building, and leadership development.
