District Chapters

District Chapters shall be constituted within India to facilitate the effective implementation of IFERD’s initiatives at the grassroots level. They shall encourage the participation of educators, researchers, students, professionals, and community leaders, particularly from regional and underserved areas, in initiatives that promote education, research, innovation, and social development. By empowering individuals at the local level, District Chapters aim to create meaningful opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and capacity building. Furthermore, these Chapters shall play a significant role in identifying region-specific opportunities and challenges in the areas of education, research, entrepreneurship, and social development.

Through such localized engagement, District Chapters shall contribute to strengthening IFERD’s outreach, relevance, and impact at the grassroots level. District Chapters serve as vital and dynamic platforms that connect regional members with the broader national and global development ecosystem. They foster inclusivity and active engagement while enabling members to collaborate with local stakeholders, strengthen leadership capabilities, expand professional networks, and contribute meaningfully to educational and social development initiatives. A District Chapter may be established within any District of India, subject to a minimum membership of 10 individuals from the respective District, including at least 2 Fellow Members, 3 Associate Members, and 5 Primary Members.
