Global Advisory Board
IFERD Global Advisory Board represents a global constellation of distinguished leaders, visionaries, and changemakers committed to advancing education, research, and social transformation. Rooted in IFERD’s motto of Uniting Minds for Global Impact, the Board brings together diverse international perspectives, rich professional experience, and strategic insight to support the Federation’s long-term vision and global engagement. The Global Advisory Board shall comprise eminent personalities from academia, industry, public policy, civil society, philanthropy, and allied sectors from both developed and developing nations. The diverse composition of the Board shall encourage the exchange of ideas, foster cross-cultural understanding, and promote collaborative approaches to addressing global challenges related to education, research, innovation, and sustainable social development.
Members of the Global Advisory Board shall be invited on the basis of their distinguished leadership, professional integrity, domain expertise, and demonstrated contributions toward societal advancement and global development.The maximum strength of the Board shall not exceed fifteen (15) members. The Global Advisory Board shall function solely in an advisory and non-executive capacity and shall not be involved in the day-to-day administration or operational decision-making of IFERD. However, the Board shall play a significant role in mentoring, guiding, and strengthening the Federation’s strategic initiatives, international collaborations, institutional credibility, and global outreach. Members of the Global Advisory Board shall be appointed for a term of two (2) years and may be reappointed based on their contributions and continued engagement with the Federation. Positions on the Global Advisory Board shall be honorary and non-remunerative in nature.
The Global Advisory Board shall function as a strategic and intellectual advisory body of IFERD, providing forward-looking insights and guidance to strengthen the Federation’s global mission, institutional growth, and long-term impact. The Board shall share international best practices, research perspectives, and innovative ideas to support institutional development and advancement. It shall advise the IFERD Assembly, Board of Directors, and Secretariat on policies, programs, and strategic initiatives, while also facilitating and promoting international collaborations, partnerships, and knowledge exchange. In addition, the Global Advisory Board shall support the Federation’s commitment to good governance, ethical leadership, and sustainable development initiatives.
